My stay here was wonderful. The staff were very polite and helpful. They allowed for a 3 hour early check in. Frequently asking if we needed anything when we’d be walking out to our car that was parked on site. Overall great experience! I’ll be staying here again! Everything seemed new and remodeled.

First, the likes. Very clean property and very close to places to eat, coffee, breakfast, lunch. Parking is underground and safe. Room and bathroom were very recently remodeled so very nice and contemporary. We were disappointed that there was no microwave or hair dryer. The refrigerator did not work, but we did not need it. I told the manager as we were leaving so I'm sure it is being replaced. The room stays fairly well lit at night. The outdoor lights illuminate the room and blackout curtains are needed. The TV was nice and big. Ice machine in lobby provided adequate ice. The people running the property were friendly.

This is a pretty nice place and reasonably priced for its location. There is a shared balcony with views of downtown. There is some off street parking but it is very minimal. There was a lot of after hours (after midnight) noise that was not addressed until a guest called it out, I don't know if there isn't overnight staff, but it was obnoxious and it was a weekday. There are also missing common amenities like a hair dryer. But the biggest issue is that the window blinds, even when fully closed, let in an incredible amount of light. I woke up several times in the middle of the night and couldn't tell if it was 3am or 3pm from how bright the bedroom was. All in all, id stay here again, but id have to bring a sleep mask, a hair dryer, and possibly a white noise machine.

The location is great for getting into downtown San Diego and surrounding sites by car. Building appears recently renovated - very contemporary. Office for check-in is disheveled so initial impression was not good but room was fresh looking and clean. Bathroom good other than tub/shower had remnant hair! and only partial roll of toilet paper with no replacement. Not sure if hair dryer available from desk- none in room. Room stayed very illuminated all night due to LED exterior lighting and no room darkening shade/curtain. There was significant confusion with check-in - booked and fully paid thru Expedia. She said it was not paid for and wanted to charge me again. She finally found assistance but check-in was very slow. A few indoor parking spaces but not many. We had no issue with street parking. Maybe management is new? The stay was ok - mostly because of convenient location.

This small hotel is located in a very convenient part of Point Loma, just down the block from a bus stop that connects to Old Towne, then from there to anywhere you wish. Restaurants are in easy walking distance. I appreciated how comfortable my bed and pillows felt, and how the entire room seems to have undergone recent renovations. It gave off a "motel feel", but made up for it in comfort. Staff (the one guy who seemed to be the only one working) was friendly, and accommodated my request to store my suitcase after checkout for a few hours while I explored more of the city. I would recommend it to budget conscious travellers, and would stay here again.

I booked this room looking for an easy, clean place to crash for the night. Unfortunately it was pretty disappointing- ice machine didn’t work; fridge didn’t work; AC was loud and made awful noise. I guess it was clean enough but I definitely wouldn’t stay there again.
