Close to cafes, restaurants, and walking distance to my grandson’s apartment. Second time staying at the Berkshire. It’s quiet, clean, and a three minute walk to a great locally owned coffee shop (Inspired).

Room was very clean and the location was great. Walking distance to North Park and its breweries. Staff was very nice. Some traffic noises as it is located right on the corner of a busy street. Recommended and would totally stay here again.

The separate newer suite from the main building was a great little place to stay for 1 person or couple when visiting the area or when having family visiting when you don't have extra space. Has AC, sitting room, separate bedroom, nice small bathroom. Starbucks & Taco Bell right up the street, Denny's & good Mexican across the street all close and walkable if needed. It was clean, modern and quiet. Has designated parking for motel and separate off street parking for the suite. Not far from Balboa Park and the Zoo and everything San Diego has to offer as well. Sure we will use it again.

The room was clean and hotel is located in a walkable neighborhood -- that's it for the positives. Reception staff were unfriendly and unresponsive. Multiple electricity outlets in my room were without power.

We had a great stay here. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The location is great for us since it’s near my daughter, but it’s great in general. The staff was kind and attentive.

This is a reasonably priced hotel in a more residential part of the city. Minimal parking, mostly street. I parked my car on arrival and then used Lyft to to go out that night because I knew there wouldn't be parking available late at night. Hotel was quiet, very clean, and unlike some economy hotels, didn't have any obtrusive odor of the cleaning products. All surfaces (shower, sink, walls, floor etc) were pristine. Bed was comfy and the power outlets were handy. AC worked. Overall a very pleasant night's stay.

Great location and excellent rates. Starbucks and Denny’s very close by. Clean, spacious and great A/C. The only downside is parking. There are 6 spaces in front which were occupied while I was there, otherwise it’s neighborhood parking which is more available about 5 - 6 blocks away. Easier to find a spot before 5PM, when everyone gets home from work. If arriving later, plan to double park for check-in and unloading, then search for parking.
