Great spot to stay! Right in the middle of all of Hillcrest’s hotspots. Easy check-in with staff / hotel dog, who felt more like a friendly neighbor. The lobby turns into a breakfast spot at 8AM so grabbing a quick bite and coffee before heading out is a must. The hotel is also next to a public parking lot, which saved us a headache using SpotHero for the entire weekend without issue.

Lee and family members were extremely accommodating. Hotel was clean and location was excellent. Restaurants, markets , night life were all within walking distance . Downstairs restaurant was excellent and had great food!

Overall, we had a decent stay. Lee at guest services was very helpful, friendly, and polite, and I really appreciated the great customer service. Unfortunately, the noise made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The guests above us were very loud late at night and sounded like they were moving furniture around. Another guest next to us was playing music and singing late into the night as well. The parking situation was also frustrating. There is street parking available, but it is limited to two hours. The overnight parking recommended by the hotel was not very comfortable, as the area had a lot of homeless people around. The staff was great, especially Lee, but the noise and parking situation definitely affected our overall experience.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The owner is super friendly and chill. As long as there is communication on both sides, I think it's a win/win situation. The parking garage is a bit small but other than that everything else was just as I imagined. : ) I can't wait for the future trip.

I gave this review 4 stars due to the excellent location. A star was removed due to the restroom situation being completely exposed. If you're a solo traveler then it's tolerable, but I couldn't imagine having another person in the room with a semi-exposed restroom. I had a premium room and overall enjoyed it. Great for a short stay.

As soon my partner and I arrived we were greeted by the owners. Very polite. We were early for our room, so the owner offered to put our luggage’s in a room while our room was cleaning. The owner give us great places to go visit. When we got to our room, there was a card, when I open it, it said “happy birthday”. My partner and I appreciate everything that the owners did, while we were staying there. I would definitely recommend this place, and I will definitely return again. Thanks again for everything

Really great location and cool modern property. Was very clean and would definitely stay here again for a short visit. The only thing that was a surprise were the bathrooms; they’re a tad rustic (really small, surrounded by a plywood structure, no mirrors) so it’s kind of like a “glamping” experience in that sense. There are no full length mirrors in the space, but the beds are really comfortable. Great for a budget stay!

This is a wonderful place to stay. I had a room with the bathroom. My only issue was that the room has 2 full walls of windows with no way to block light. Just pack an eye mask. As this is located in an active neighborhood (which is an amazing location) The room is very bright all night and no way to sleep after sunrise. The restaurant is very good and the staff was helpful, however it doesn't open till 8 am so not ideal for the early riser. It is an unusual and fun space. So many codes the gate, the elevator, the room, although this does make contactless check in easy you need to have open hands for your phone and keypads. I highly recommend this amazing haven in the city.
