The property was on a quiet side street but near to stores and restaurants. It was also near the tourist pier where we needed to go after our stay. The front desk was helpful in getting us a cab. The grounds were filled with flowers and neatly maintained as was the pool. The on site restaurant had excellent food. Highly recommend.

We moved to hotel Garza from a terrible resort, so we loved the large room, clean pool, and lovely grounds. The front desk was kind and helpful. The restaurant food was great and the staff very attentive. The rooms are a bit dated but we really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend!

The hotel has lovely grounds, and is quite quiet. It is said to have an excellent restaurant but we didn't eat there. Our room was very comfortable but the sliding doors on the patio didn't lock. The bellhop had a carpenter cut two pieces of wood to secure the door. We were satisfied with this response. We would recommend Garza Canela.

The air conditioning was not cooling upon initial arrival. We had to let the front desk know to change the temperature because we were not allowed to do it on our own. Once the room cooled down it was perfect. The rooms could have been cleaner. With an older hotel, we were not expecting the most modern touches but the floors were not clean and found a lizard in the shower. Overall the property was well maintained but cleanliness of the rooms could have been better. The service from the maintenance man was excellent. We was very helpful and courteous.

Bed and pillows are really not comfortable. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Room was clean and basic. Light bulbs vary in color throughout the indoor and outdoor spaces. The warm color helps add charm but the cool color makes it feel cheap. Property well maintained otherwise. Pool and outdoor tables were nice amenities for family use.

It's an old property and have it's charm, blankets were just old, same with the mattress and towels, receptionist was rude, parking is to far from the entrance, food at the restaurant wasn't what we were expecting, not saying that old is bad but in this case we were disappointed, will we stay there again?
