It’s an affordable hotel that’s being remodeled right now. The staff was really nice, and the updated room was clean and comfortable. Don’t worry about the construction. If you just need a clean, low-cost place to stay for the night, this is a solid option.

Overall, our stay at Hallmark Inn in San Antonio was good. Sonia at the front desk was friendly and even let us check in an hour early with no hesitation, which we really appreciated. The room was clean, and we liked that the AC unit stayed running instead of constantly turning off like in many hotels. There currently aren’t any amenities available due to renovations, but hopefully there will be improvements once they’re finished.

Renovated room. Pleasantly surprised. Older building but you can tell management is quickly updating location. Quick check in and check out. Easy parking, gated. Until they change ice machine you may need to bring a bag of ice no big deal. Great deal for the price. Overall 4 stars, will use in the future. Friendly STAFF!
