“Stayed the night in the converted skittle ally - Pre-Booked a table for Dinner days before, Service was really poor - Left for 35 Minutes with no one attempting to take order, had to go to bar to complain - staff more interested in chatting with locals then serving the tables - food was dropped on the table, at no point did anyone ask if the food was ok, left feeling like we were not welcome - a complete shame because the food we did receive was amazing ! clearly a great kitchen team, let down...

“Caro the host was lovely and friendly and very hospitable. The old Manor House is beautiful set in rolling countryside. The bedroom was large, beds were comfortable and good shower. Caro provides an excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Would defo visit again. The Globe Inn nearby does good food and the staff and locals were good fun.”

“This is an excellent family run bed and breakfast in the centre of Tavistock. The room was spacious and even though the room was facing the road, I could not hear any traffic. The location was excellent and I loved the character of the road and houses. I would visit again.”

There is a Greggs and Subway which is very handy for food etc. also the garage station is a Londis which sells items as well. “Wonderful period property, all modern conveniences, comfortable beds, luxury bedding, spotlessly clean. Situated just off the high street with secure on site parking, and within walking distance of various eating establishments. Website is easy to use, and informative, covers everything you need to know about the property and local area. Jamie & Gary are fabulous hosts. Highly recommend this establishment.”
