Expedia is not updated for check in process. It is not Ganesh Hotel, it is village lodge. Regardless, we were redirected to the right place in village lodge and had the most amazing attentiveness and service by the owner, Caro, and our hostess, Luisa. Very beautiful beach loft in the middle of the jungle and 50 feet away from the most gorgeous secluded beach. Recommending this place to anyone who travels to Samaná. Not for people with disabilities or children.

This is a real beach get away, there is not so much around but that adds to the tranquility of the area. If you need to just get away from the crowds and enjoy the coast this is a wonderful place. The jungle apartment also was incredible, we would spend an hour just watching the wildlife on the tree that runs through the building. Of course being in the jungle environment means jungle animals so be warned there will be some big looking spiders.

AMAZING, beautiful, extremely unique and secluded 'hotel'. This was one of the top 'hotels' we have ever stayed in. The communication with the host was great, and the staff were very friendly. We booked jungle loft #7 which was beautiful, but after realizing that you could see the inside of the loft when it was getting darker out, we asked to be moved to the loft above (I believe #6) - which the host kindly agreed to. Staying in the jungle SURROUNDED by beautiful glass windows/walls this close to the beach was the most beautiful experience. There are 'wild' dogs all around, which we gladly made friends with (they like to dig up the crab holes on the beach at night to play with the crabs, it was an interesting and fun experience to watch). However, if you are a first time visitor of DR, as we were, I would recommend you book this stay towards the end of the trip once you are more comfortable with how the DR works (especially if you aren't fluent in Spanish). We booked at 3 different hotels, and this was our FIRST of the trip. With how secluded it is, it was a little jarring for us as the first stay. About excursions - Taino may be affiliated with the excursion company surrounding, but they do not run the excursions. That being said, count your money before you pay your tour guide and while you are handing the money to them. Our guide told Taino that we cut him short of 20 USD (we counted the $ in front of him as well as gave him a tip). Taino handeled it well though!

Es de un excelente lugar para desconectarte, sin embargo, llegamos y la habitación no estaba bien aseada, no fue fácil llegar ya que no hay letreros, no hay muchos utensilios de cocina, poca iluminación para salir en la noche, las sábanas olían a humedad, la habitación entera tenía polvo, aunque mandamos a limpiar igual el olor a polvo era intenso, para subir a la cabaña 7, esta muy descuidado, nuestro descanso no fue placentero, ahora bien, entendemos que con un buen mantenimiento el lugar sería increíble, un punto importante el desayuno estaba muy bueno y la joven que nos atendió, excelente servicio.

I recently stayed at Taino Beach Lofts, and I was absolutely blown away by the experience. The property is located in a secluded area of the Dominican Republic, just steps from the beach. The lofts are nestled in the jungle, and they are beautifully designed and decorated. They are spacious and comfortable, and they have everything you need for a relaxing stay.
