The rooms, while spacious, seem average at best. There is too much moisture inside and when you turn the AC on, it gets very sticky and humid. The property as such is very well located with great beach access and the pools are excellent. Food was very good too with great selection in the menu.

The property is quite big & well maintained by staff. Staff were very friendly and would teach guests a few words if interested. Front desk and Concierge staff didn’t all speak English so relied on translation apps. The buffet served a lot of local foods which was great although would have enjoyed more variety night after night. There was often some type of pool exercise or entertainment in the day and evenings. The property is 1.5 hours from Samana airport and transportation from the airport is not provided. The hotel is not great for people with mobility issues. There’s no path to the beach from the nearest restaurant; you have to walk across a grassy field so would help if there was a path. Couldn’t enjoy the Al A Carte restaurants because they’re all near the beach & too far for my father to walk. Thankfully the buffet was good. I’d recommend this hotel to able bodied people for sure, great staff and beach!!
