Unfortunately, my experience at El Valle Lodge was disappointing. From the moment we arrived, I felt that the treatment we received was not welcoming. We were made to feel as though we didn’t belong there, which was especially upsetting because we were simply vacationing in our own country. I was also surprised that basic amenities such as coffee and even ice came at an additional cost. For the price of the stay, I expected a more welcoming experience and better attention to the comfort of guests. The room was another major issue. There were bugs throughout the bedroom, which made it difficult to feel comfortable or relaxed during our stay. El Valle is located in a beautiful area, and I really wanted to enjoy the experience, but unfortunately the service, atmosphere, additional charges for basic items, and condition of the room left a negative impression. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because the location has so much potential, but guests should feel welcomed, respected, and comfortable during their stay.
