Excellent location right across the road from the beach. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Pool was a bit dirty but the beach was relaxing got across the road so we chose that instead. Would definitely stay here again.

This place is great the rooms are spacious. My friends and I had b11/B12 and D2 (this one had a damp smell to it, nothing horrendous it's a beach apartment) all balconies are Overlooking the pool and the beach. The free breakfast hits the spot and the plate of day is under 10usd it's withing walking distance to a bunch of other delicious restaurants. Also For exercions in Samana/El Limon the tous buses come get you. I use MotoMarina tours book it yourself no vendor hassle. CARMEN at the front desk is la mejor. She was so helpful and cheerful, and informative. She is truly an asset to that hotel. 10/10 recommend this hotel.

We had an amazing view. The property was well maintained and clean. Some updates would be helpful but this did not hinder the stay. The staff was kind and helpful with local information. The location was walkable and offered taxis. The breakfast included in the price of the hotel. We could choose American or Dominican breakfast. I chose Dominican. They also had fresh fruit, coffee and juice. The dinner for purchase was also delicious. A great view sitting on the beach.

I cannot say enough about how much I enjoyed my stay at the Costarena Beach Hotel. The staff was absolutely wonderful and always responded kindly to my requests and needs. My taxi back to the bus to transport to the airport was very late and I was concerned I could not get there in time, but my wonderful friend at the desk called another and made sure I arrived on time. The room was clean and comfortable and views of the beach from my balcony were stunning. The restaurant in front of the property on the beach was all I needed. Thanks for a providing me a peaceful respite on my visit to Las Terrenas.

The staff is so sweet. The location is close to everything. The rooms are a little dated, but it has everything you need, including a terrace, which is really nice to dry your bathing suit. Air conditioning and television were working awesome. Don’t expect it to be quiet here, but not too late. Everything settles down. I would recommend for the relaxed vintage vibe and location.

The front desk agent was very friendly and welcoming. The cleanliness of the property was excellent throughout our stay. The restaurant staff could benefit from closer supervision. The restaurant was often empty, which initially made us think the food might not be very good. However, we later realized that the issue was not the food, but rather the staff’s lack of motivation and engagement. On our last evening, we decided to have dinner at the restaurant because we did not feel like going out. The first thing the server told us was that they were “almost closing,” even though it was only 6:30 PM. To help move things along, I placed our order while the rest of my family was getting ready. The food was absolutely delicious. Every dish we ordered was excellent. Compliments to the chef for such a wonderful dining experience. The waitresses and bartender would benefit from additional customer service training. There seemed to be very little effort to engage guests or promote sales. We noticed several people sit down at tables and leave without ordering, which appeared to be a missed opportunity. With a more attentive and welcoming service approach, the restaurant could provide a much better overall guest experience.
