Very convenient location for attending the conference center. But you get what you pay for. The room was semi-clean, with black mold in the shower, the window curtains torn in places and unable to fully close, a very loud AC unit, a sketchy elevator, and a $100 cash security deposit. Staff were nice though!

Very clean room and very comfortable bed in a quiet setting. Rooms and bathroom are updated. Called desk and quick response. AC was great. Although came at 4 am and problem with computer, we liked the hotel itself. Elevator was appreciated. We found a delightful Italian restaurant and walked 2 blocks. Lots of parking.

Had a nice overnight stay at the Metropolitan Inn. Despite some construction going on in various rooms (remodeling and updated) and the run-down appearance in some areas, the room itself was clean, quiet and super comfortable. All basic needs were covered AND it was affordable - which is a huge plus in this day and age! It's not the ritz, but I was comfortable and would stay there again.

My room was spacious, very clean, and strangely enough so quiet (if you have your window closed you don’t hear anything despite being on a busy street-Temple Ave.). The staff was so nice and corteous. My only critique is that the exterior of the building could be improved.

One star for comfy beds, otherwise very dirty rooms (carpet and walls with numerous stains amd holes), bathroom paint peeling and cracked toilet seat. Motel appeared to have long term tenants wbo frequently should to each other across the complex.

Room was clean. Basic amenities included. Television which I didn't use. Microwave. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Plenty of hot water for showering. Area around room quite. We were able to have a good night's sleep. No coffee available at the main entrance.Check-in was efficient. Attendant was polite/cordial maybe even a bit Smarmy. Then again hotel what's very decent for a reasonable price. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget that's looking for a good night's sleep.
