There were not enough towels in the bathroom when we walked in, so we had to call housekeeping a few times. They have a good breakfast selection, even with gluten-free options. May need to check the tub drain for pooling. It started pooling near the end of my stay.

We arrived at 1130pm after driving 7 hours to salmon arm. The front desk staff was kind and got us sorted into a room quick. BUT when we walked in, the room was disgusting. There was hair in the bed, sink and shower. The toilet had toilet paper in it. The walls and fridge had smear marks of an unknown substance. It was awful. It took us an hour from when we arrived to when we left. The front desk guy working was extremely nice and made sure we got refunded and we spent the extra $40/night to stay in the Hilton.

The check in girl and breakfast lady were awesome! but this property was disappointing for a best western hotel. It was older and not up to their usual standards. We were kind of sketched out when we drove in and if we hadn’t already paid we would’ve gone elsewhere. Our room near the back was less than 100 from the train tracks with several trains rolling through in the night. If you’re just passing through like us who arrived late evening and left early morning it was bearable but definitely not a place to spend your vacation.

The floor in the room was quite dirty. Walking in your bare feet is not recommended. They will be black. Other people’s hair was also still around the floor. Otherwise the bedding was clean and the amenities are OK. Pet friendly which is a bonus.

We brought our standard poodle dog, it only cost us extra $20 a night. Where our room was situated it was across the sidewalk from where we could take our dog to a grassy area. For her to go pottie There was an indoor pool very clean. Unfortunately the hot tub indoors was not working The continental breakfast was fairly good The continental breakfast being upstairs so if you were in a wheelchair or had a disability climbing, the stairs would be very difficult. No elevator It was walking distance to Mr. Mike’s restaurant for dinner and another restaurant and right next-door to a waterpark.

Room was clean and fairly recently updated. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool area is indoors and not ventilated so very humid and hot. It's within 75 feet of a busy railroad track so expect alot of train noise. Luckily we were exhausted and the A/C unit helped drown out the noise. The included breakfast was great, a real breakfast not continental. Walking distance to a Starbucks and a couple of restaurants.
