Room was nice, comfy bed and the owner was quick to respond. Only complaint was that the walls were paper thin, when guests in the room next to us were opening their door with the key, it sounded like they were coming into our room. Other than that, was a nice stay.

I made a last-minute booking. The room was spacious and featured a balcony. There was a bit of a hassle during check-in because the elevator required 20 cents, or alternatively, picking up the key from the second floor. The host provided guidance through a video call. The breakfast was enjoyable. Overall, I was pleased with my stay.

Salernoway due to being unable to check in. I didn’t receive any instructions of access the unit the day of my arrival. Upon arriving at the main entrance around 1:15 PM on September 12, 2026, I buzzed the bell, but no one answered. I eventually entered the building behind a resident and went up to the second-floor unit. I knocked on the door and rang the bell repeatedly, but again received no response. I find out phone number from their website, also attempted to call the property owner twice, but both phone calls went unanswered, leaving me completely unable to reach the front desk or access my room. After waiting at the property for two hours without any assistance, I was forced to secure alternative lodging, which resulted in an unexpected expense of $900 for three nights. Because the room was entirely inaccessible upon arrival, but they were refused to refund at all. They insisted sent me an access information the day before I checked in. Also the outside building old under renovation.

When we arrived at the B&B no one was there to check us in. Another person had been waiting there for an hour. Finally, I contacted the B&B through Expedia and the manager showed up. The room had very cheap furniture, the bed was uncomfortable and the shower/tub was old and needed a good cleaning. The tub was so high, it was hard to get in and out of. We did have some good experiences though. The lady who took care of breakfast was very friendly and made a great cup of coffee. The manager was friendly and gave me some good advice about visiting the Amalfi Coast. The balcony was a surprise and the surrounding area was nice.

The B&B is News the train station, it’s also best of one of the main ports, mese to convenience stores, etc. The room was clean, spacious, breaksfast everyday ( regular italian breakfast, sweets).

Basic accomodations, AOK

This is a three room 'hotel' on the third floor of a large building. Three blocks from the road next to the sea. Sorry walk to train station. Nice rooms, basic bed, must use WhatsApp to contact the room manager and get inside. No front desk. Basic croissant and coffee for breakfast. No problems, recommended for short stay.

The checkin process was terrible and the Host was not responsive. After traveling for 26 hours, tired and exhausted, he wasn’t answering his phone, front door buzzer or the entry door to the units. Very frustrating. Asked to leave our bags for an hour the next day to go and get food and they said no. Do not recommend and would never stay there again.

Bad experience, no staff or communication

This was not a good experience. No one was there to check us in. We rang the bell, no one answered. Eventually someone else from the building walked out so we went inside. When we got to the door of the b&b a different resident let us in but there was no staff. A resident showed us the keys. What a bad experience. There was also no paid parking like the listing said. The hallways and doors are loud during the night so it’s not easy to sleep. I would not recommend this place. There’s so many more options in Salerno.

Sauberes Zimmer und sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Leider war die Matratze schon etwas alt und das Frühstück bestand aus einzeln verpackten süßen Backwaren, ohne frische Brötchen oder Toast. Die ruhige Lage hat uns gut gefallen. Insgesamt ein angenehmer Aufenthalt.

Παρά πολύ καλό. Στο κέντρο του Salerno, πάρα πολύ κοντά στο ιστορικό κέντρο και στο λιμάνι για Amalfi coast, Capri. Πολύ ωραία περιοχή, αδύνατον όμως να βρεις parking στον δρόμο που είναι φθηνό, αλλά υπάρχει ακριβώς απέναντι με 25€ την ημέρα και στον πεζόδρομο, κλειστό parking που είναι λίγο φθηνότερο. This B&B is value for money.

Passamos 5 dias hospedados neste local. É um edifício comercial e no segundo andar tem o Salermoway que é como uma hospedaria. Possui 3 ou 4 quartos apenas mas é um lugar muito agradável e bem limpo. A equipe de funcionários é maravilhosa, atenderam-nos muito bem, sempre prestativos e educados. Tem uma copa/cozinha comunitária que é muito boa para quem quiser fazer suas refeições no próprio local já que, existe um bom supermercado enfrente. A localização é ótima, fica perto da estação de trem, ônibus e a 150m da praia . Muitas lojas e restaurantes na redondeza. Ficamos muito satisfeitos.
