Fantastic place to stay and highly recommended!
Posted Feb 23, 2020 on HotelsWe spent 3 nights at Sa’Moana and had a fantastic time. The staff were wonderful - attentive but not overbearing, and a pleasure to chat to and get to know. The setting by the beach is beautiful, and the rooms are well spaced out along the coast, interspersed with palm trees which gives them a very private feel. Kayaks and paddle boards can be used at any time, and there is a beautiful lagoon nearby to explore. The property also has a small but well equipped gym. Overall a great find and one we would highly recommend!

It was amazing we loved everything about it. The staff, the location the pool. The bathroom!! Totally exceeded our expectations

Amazing little boutique style resort on a private beach. I’ve moved and traveled in Samoa and have stayed at many of the hotels and beach games. Sa’moana is definitely my new favourite spot!

We stayed as family of 7 in 3 bedroom bungalow. loved it especially small "private beach". Menu a bit limited.

I loved that it was right on the beach, the road down is pretty hard but once you're there it's fine. It was great that you could use the paddleboards and kayaks. The staff were really lovely.
Only downside was for a resort of this stature I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the bedding - mould and grease marks on the sheets. As well as the quality of the mattress.

Spectacular little resort
Posted Nov 26, 2019 on HotelsFabulous find! Secluded little resort on the ocean with private bungalows that have outdoor showers! A real treat. Staff very helpful and friendly - they live in an adjacent village. Stunning views, great beachfront, good snorkelling, good drinks and tasty food - what more could you ask for? Even the gym was pretty well equipped albeit a little dated. Perfect place to escape to for a quiet, secluded holiday.

Lovely place, fly screens on the windows and lovely outdoor bathrooms. strongly recommend the wahoo fish - compliments to the chef. The road is a bit of a monster so would recommend exploring on foot during stay and seeing clams on the way in or out.

It's a perfect sized resort. Under 10 cabins so does not feel crowded. Food and staff are amazing. Facilities are breathtaking. From hiking to snorkling to beach bumming !

mattress inconfortable
fan so loud you can't hear yourself speaking: impossible to slow it down, you're either freezing or dying of heat
outdoor shower: crab family reunion while we were showering
sheets: not clean, itchy, should have more since it's freezing when the fan is on
swimming pool: crabs everywhere and leeches jumping
no connexion at all
got food poisoning, food wasn't fresh, got really sick and super expensive for what it worths
staff cleaning your room while you're still using it
road to reach the bungalows is in terrible state, broke our car because of bumps
not easy to find at all, not even on maps

Thank you very much for the glowing review. It is a shame that your review is an absolute violation of the truth. The fact being that you left the resort in the early hours of the morning without paying for your bar and restaurant bill. You even went to the extent of trying to blackmail us that if we cleared your balance you would remove this untruthful review. You did this by via Instagram when we found you.
Your actions are despicable and people like you should not be allowed to stay in hotels. Reviews like yours not only effect our hotel but also local staff and tourism on a whole. You only wrote the review in attempt to not pay for the food and drinks you consumed. Shame on you.
You still have not settled your account and I sincerely hope that you cease this type of behavior as I am sure the day will come when this will all catch up with you.
