I absolutely love this place. It feels so homey and relaxing, and the overall atmosphere is beautiful. The food is delicious. Staff very nice and helpful. The only minor downsides on this visit were the shower pressure being (very) low and with a broken handheld showerhead, pillows that felt a bit oversized, and curtains that did not block the light quite enough. But none of that is reason enough to stay away. We plan to return many times. And I entirely recommend you try it!

Clean room, beautiful decor in all parts of the building. Very nice helpful staff. The spa amenities were run-down. The sauna didn’t get hot and the steam room wasn’t working. I got a massage and it was decent but nothing special. The restaurant is very good but small portions as expected with fine dining and quite pricey. The hotel is dog friendly in some rooms which is a big bonus for us!

This is definitely one of our favourite hotels in the world. Much as we want to gatekeep this property, we want to see its continued success. The decor is impeccably curated, a perfect balance of modern finishings with antique furnishings. The bed and bedding create a cloud to sleep on. We will always return. One thing - please go back to the Molton Brown bath and body items. Occitane is ok but nowhere near as good as MB!

We loved Stonehaven! The property and buildings are lovely. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room (in the annex/pavillion) was spacious and spotless, with a great view of the lake. While the decor is traditional/antiques including lots of beautiful original art, the room was practically brand new with a really nice bathroom and very comfy bed. We ate in the restaurant one night - beautifully prepared and presented food. The hot tub was nice too on a cold day (we couldn’t figure out the sauna unfortunately). And we enjoyed some of the many sitting areas and the provided board games. We will definitely return!

We had an excellent stay. When we arrived to our room we found a dog blanket and food/water bowls had been laid out for our pup! We enjoyed the lounge spaces and the space, and we loved playing games with delicious drinks from the bar. The restaurant was amazing, very creative menu and excellent wine pairing. Our dog loved the well groomed trails around the hotel. Will absolutely be back!

Missing items in plate and over cooked Benedict eggs, and error on billing … really not their day! Room very clean and sharp…. Stonehaven is a lovely place - comfort, peace, great setting. Staff is helpful and friendly, and they have a first-rate restaurant. It's a short drive to Ste. Agathe as well as Val David, Ste. Adele, and San Saveur for those who like to look around. There are lots of trails at Stonehaven as well. This was our second stay here.
