Felix Leclerc is considered the father of Quebec music.

His most famous song, “Moi, Mes Souliers” (Me, My Shoes), inspired a new custom - surrounding his headstone are not random shoes placed in homage, but instead are well-traveled pairs from recently departed loved ones. A solemn but inspiring place to visit.
