“When I arrived at The Ocean Inn in Antigua and Barbuda, I was immediately struck by its spectacular, top-tier location. However, the property itself was in desperate need of a deep, thorough cleaning and major renovation. During my stay, I was deeply uncomfortable because the room was poorly maintained: the bath towels were stained, the kitchen dishes, microwave, and hot water kettle were dirty, and the bedsheets that were supposed to be white were dingy and discolored. “The bedroom is simple, but clean and a very comfortable bed. Judith is always smiling and very accommodating. We really liked the fact that they have a small café so we could eat on the premises. We would have appreciated a couple more bottles of water in the fridge but we know drinking water is an issue in Antigua. Our only issue was the distance. (About a 20 min. taxi ride.) If you are looking for a budget friendly place we highly recommend it.”
