Nice, great-value hotel in good location

Stay was excellent. This isn't a 5-star hotel. The rooms are small and efficient. The staff is friendly and helpful and very accommodating. The location is excellent - near the train station and a short, scenic walk to the walled city - or to Solidar. All around, a great value.

The manager of the hotel was amazing, nothing was too much trouble. The room was basic but spotless. The building was old and had some little querks such as "the hill" on our landing just before our room door 😆. The lift was "compact" and just a little cranky at times, but it worked ..... mostly! Absolutely ideal location for the ferry terminal amd for touring the local area. Sadly for got to take pics of the hotel.

Had difficulty with the staff at the front desk. Our air conditioner did not work and it was not until the last night that we were there that we got assistance. We just kept getting a shoulder shrug when we asked for help. Because of allergies and having to leave the window open because of the heat, it made sleeping miserable.

The room was basic but clean and comfortable. Close to the train / bus station and an easy walk to the old town. Wifi only worked part of the time.

Close the railway station and walkable to old town. The staff and facilities were excellent and we enjoyed our time there. The breakfast was also good. Dark and fairly quiet room for sleeping. Our welcome drink was a nice touch.

Near the train and bus station. restaurants is just around corner. 15 mins walk to Intramuros. No kettle inside the room. Noisy if your room is along the road.

L’hôtel est bruyant, situé au bord d’une route très fréquentée. Le petit-déjeuner à volonté est cher pour la qualité du service proposé. Dommage qu’il n’y ait pas de crêpes ! Points positifs : l’hôtel est proche de la gare, le gérant est sympathique et la chambre était plutôt propre. Attention toutefois au « petit cadeau offert ». Le personnel vous dira à plusieurs reprises que le verre offert peut être pris à tout moment, sans avoir à consommer un repas entier. Cependant, vous devrez finalement consommer un menu pour en bénéficier. Soit c’est un manque de compétence des équipes, soit un « faux-cadeau » malhonnête.

Check in was only at 3 pm and when I finally was able to check in they said the room wasn’t ready yet. When I showed my discontent they all of a sudden found me a room. Also I felt like the luggage consignment was a little sketchy as no one was really keeping an eye on the luggage. Anyone off the street could walk in and snatch a bag.

Extremely disappointing experience

I booked this hotel for my daughter (10 years old) and I on the 27th May. Our booking was for last night (7th July). We arrived late, around 10pm because our ferry from Guernsey was very late. When we arrived at the hotel it was closed. I called the emergency number but no one answer and went straight to voicemail so wasn’t very emergency oriented. With the help from a man from a local restaurant I managed to book a different hotel for the night. It was horrible as my daughter started to get very worried. I would like to have my money back for the terrible inconvenience.

De passage une nuit car embarquement tot sur le ferry dommage de ne pouvoir avoir plus de renseignements par l hotel sur le déroulement de l accueil et du fonctionnement du ferry alors qu il est à moins de 5 minutes. Personnel agreable et hotel correct pour le prix

Un hôtel à essayer très bien 👍

Très bon séjour, chambre très confortable et salle de bain très pratique. Personnel très accueillant. Hôtel proche de la gare de Saint Malo et visite pour intramuros très facile d'accès à pied. Petite marche mais quand il fait beau c'est agréable.

Excellente étape

Assez bien situé, près de la gare et à 10/15mn d intra muros et du sillon. Hotel simple mais le confort est suffisant. Excellent restaurant aux prix raisonnables; nous y avons mangé tous les soirs et nous nous sommes regalees. Le formule demi pension est d ailleurs très intéressante: on dispose d un « crédit » de 25 euros par personne a dépenser comme on le souhaite, et l on paie seulement ce qui dépasse. Personnel très aimable et serviable, même sous pression. Seul bémol: le petit déjeuner est améliorable. Les viennoiseries sont industrielles (et pas bonnes - j en ai mangé de meilleures dans cette catégorie) et surtout comme pain il n y a que des petits pains cuits sur place, pas vraiment bons. Dommage car le reste du buffet est correct, mais le pain reste un élément central…malgré cela, je recommande sans réserve pour ceux qui cherchent un logement confortable aux pris contenus.
