Cute cottage

Cute quaint little 1920’s cottage. Small but very clean. There is a sign saying let the hot water run 3 to 5 minutes as the water heater isn’t right at the cottage. I did that and had no issue with warm water for my shower.

Hotel room was very clean. I found the tub to be quite slippery getting in and out of the shower…they may want to put some slip guards in. And I found the tv to be on the small side. But overall my stay was very good.

Rothesay Motel review

I loved the size of the room, the microwave and refrigerator and a great value. I also liked the ease of check-in and check-out. It was clean and had everything I needed. It's only drawback was that the bed was not as comfortable as I'd like. I would, however, stay there again.

Clean, well maintained for an older motel, and comfy beds and bedding. Not that we needed it but I appreciate a kitchenette. This trip was just a “lay our heads for the night” stay.

Because the ad said there was a kitchenette - I hoped there would be a small regular stove and a toaster - ther was neither of these - there was only a hot plate and I felt it was too dangerous to use - we spent a lot more money dining out than if we could have bought food to cook - there was already a burn spot on the kitchen table when we got there don't know if that happened when someone was using the hot plate or not and the TV had a short in it - there is a lose wire going into the plug - sometimes it would just stop playing

Very interesting history. Locals still know it by the old name. I stayed in one of the original cabins and that was pretty cool. Renovated inside but outside looks true to original buildings. Inside was perfect for me as a single. Comfy bed and amenities I need with good internet. Old layout so bathroom is small but updated. Quite enjoyed the little escape from the norm.
