The location was right in the heart of Saint Jean Port Joli close to the river, restaurants, historic sites and beautiful scenery. We met some interesting and warm people at the excellent breakfast. We used our limited French and they used their English and we communicated our mutual love for this country.

We needed a place to stay for one night on our way from Halifax to Montreal. The owner waited for us to arrive as we were late and we had a great night. Raynald was very welcoming and we will have to come back to further visit the area. Merci !

Warm greeting upon arrival. The auberge is very clean. Guests can use the common living room & the outside deck with hot tub. Our room was very charming with updated decor. Plenty of free off-street parking. Easy walking to many restaurants. Note: some restaurants are closed Tuesdays. The proprietor is very accommodating and speaks English and kindly understood our halting ability to converse in French. The upstairs bedrooms do all share the one full-sized washroom. Overall, a very pleasant stay! Thank you.
