Our stay at the Chateau was wonderful. We were warmly greeted, given a tour and as hungry travelers in on a Sunday afternoon, given a beautiful cheese plate with warm bread and wine to enjoy in the garden. The chateau itself is beautiful, the grounds are sprawling, surrounded by vineyards, with huge walnut trees all over providing shade, plenty of patios to tuck into and read, a large and clean pool. The room we stayed in was huge and very well decorated, with easily the most comfortable bed I've slept in. Everything was perfection, peaceful, and warm. We did dinner a couple nights at the nearby de la maison d’estournal, and while that may be a 5 star hotel, the warmth and care put into our stay at Château Ormes de Pez was incredibly special and easily a highlight to the trip. We can't wait to return.

The chateau and it’s garden were beautiful. The hotelier was wonderful. Definitely take the vineyard tour if it is available. The wine is superb.

Oasi di pace e charme , camera spaziosa con letto comodo, spazi comuni accoglienti ed ampi. Colazione eccellente e personale disponibile e gentile. Bella piscina. Il soggiorno di per sé è stato vacanza, non saremmo mai usciti intenti a rilassarci e sorseggiare il vino lì prodotto (e che ordineremo per bontà e bei ricordi.) Avevamo con noi anche la nostra bimba di 1 anno accolta serenamente (nel letto con noi però, se cercate lettini e seggioloni non li hanno, ma il giardino in cui correre è immenso).

Une seule nuit mais l’endroit est reposant. Très beau parc, un énorme salon à disposition pour la détente. Chambre au calme avec accès au parc. Excellent petit déjeuner. Accueil impeccable. Prix très correct pour la région et à cette période.

Uma estadia curta mas maravilhosa! Um pequeno chateau familiar no meio de Medoc. Excelente decoração e jardim muito romântico. Hosts superagradaveis e sempre prontos a ajudar. Um senão apenas: ainda calor e AC apenas se programava para o calor!! Dormir de janelas abertas retira muito conforto …

Nous avons adoré l'accueil si généreux de Sylvia (et de sa famille) dans son domaine. La propriété est magnifique, dans un grand parc autour et de beaux arbres et jardins. Le petit déjeuner dans le jardin est très agréable. Sylvia nous a bien aidé pour trouver des bons restos dans la zone. Tout était parfait sauf que la piscine était en panne. Ceci dit, Sylvia a tout fait pour nous trouver une alternative et l'a fait en un rien de temps. Merci pour tout!

Stay at Chateau Ormes de Pez is cozy, comfortable and peaceful just like village name. Gilles and Nedage provided fantastic services and made our stay better. Highly recommend if you want peaceful getaway in Bordeaux region.
