A wonderful place to stay. V quiet rooms with black out blinds made for a great sleep. Special touches like bath salts, a coffee machine with decaff pods, toiletries in a little drawer, Bluetooth speaker in the mirror, and of course the incredible rooftop pool - it was wonderful. We didn't sample the dining or have breakfast. Only one improvement would be to have more towels in the room, just one each, a hand towel would have been nice. They closed the pool when the storm warning came in which was sad but understandable. We will be returning here!

Really enjoyed my stay - my room was spacious, clean and a great sea view. Staff were friendly. Pool was amazing - wish they didnt use 'stadium bright lights' as too bright/harsh/cheap when wanting to enjoy sunset or evening swim/relaxation - softer lighting would make the evening pool experience all the more relaxing.

Front desk staff are friendly and helpful - got me a few things fix proactively - reserved breakfast buffer for us, got our octopus validated for car park, etc Very very poor house keeping - our room was a suite with terrace and as soon as we checked in, we quickly realised the hand soap bottle was empty. What’s more - at night when we showered, we realised the shower gel bottle was empty too. I was “lucky” to have my family calling the help for me, what if this happens on solo traveller? Breakfast was nice with quite some variety of dishes to choose from. What a joke for the lady (not that polite and helpful gentleman in omelette station) in the egg station who was responsible for cooking individual eggs to slip two eggs to my husband s plate even what he asked for was one fried egg- as soon as he said no she took the eggs back and left loads of oil in his plate. What kind of services is that?

Disappointed with the cleanliness

When we were checking the room, we spotted that one glass was missing and there were hair and tiny piece of broken glass on the floor. We called the front desk and request for a further clean up. The staff said they will ask housekeepers to come and check. We then waited for another 10 mins, but no one showed up. So we went down to front desk to tell the staff in person again and said we had to head out but the housekeepers can enter our room for cleaning. When we got back to our room late afternoon, we found that the glass was replenished but the broken glass and hair were still on the same spot. We subsequently found stains on the wall and curtain. Very disappointed with the room’s cleanliness, especially when we have requested for a further clean up.

Would recommend for staycation

I stayed in a room with a sea view balcony. Good things: 1. The room is spacious. 2. The toilet is spacious too. I like the bath tub. Water pressure for shower is strong too. 3. The sink is outside the shower area. I would suggest having another towel on the floor in the sink area too. 4. There is a weight scale under the sink. Good! 5. The mirror with time - nice! However if u r a person who sleeps lightly, u may be disturbed by the blue light round the mirror. For me, I am totally fine. 6. A lot of guests commented the bed is hard so I assumed it may not be very comfortable cuz I am used to sleeping on a softer bed. It s true that the bed is pretty hard BUT it is unexpectedly quite comfortable and I slept very well during the stay (I stayed for 2 nights). I think it really depends on people themselves. 7. The view is nice though there are not many things to see. It gave me a calm and peace feeling. I did sit at the balcony in the morning and at night once respectively to enjoy some quiet peaceful moments. 8. Two layers of curtains so u can totally black out the room and sleep well. 9. The hair dryer did not work so I called the operator to change another one. The staff came pretty quickly. 10. The shuttle bus service is good especially for local people. Rooms for improvement: 1. The sink: the water goes down slowly. Probably it has clogged?! 2. If you turn the shower head towards the door during shower, some water will be leaked out of the door.

Great Family Staycation! Will be back for sure!

We had a lovely stay at the WM! An amazing family staycation! My husband and I had a beautiful and comfortable room with a balcony and a sea view, which was lovely! We loved the balcony and the refilled water filter (very sustainable!). Our kids had the room with no balcony. Their bed was very hard but the hotel added a top duvet/thin mattress on top to make it more comfortable. Hotel location was great too, walking distance to Sai Kung village, the beach, kayak rental and outline island kayak trips. The infinity pool was also beautiful. We did Hup Moon beach one day, kayak rentals another day. We will definitely be back! The M Square restaurant in the hotel was nice with pool table, golf sim, games, etc. A nice addition for an end of the day family time. Areas of improvement: - Breakfast buffet was ok, but not amazing. It also closed at 10am sharp which we felt was a bit early for a holiday weekend. Breakfast until 10:30am would be better and with more variety too (more fruits, pancake, waffles, maybe some avocado, more juice options and other options) - Pool was beautiful but no drinks or food on the pool floor, which was odd. Moreover, there is no bathroom on the pool floor. You need to take a lift down 3 floors and walk a bit to the nearest toilet. It seems a bit odd.

A hotel Kid Gym?

28 June, around 9pm During our stay, we visited the hotel gym around 9pm and encountered a group of families with three young children, possibly aspiring young athletes. Two little girls, approximately 5-6 years old, were sitting on their father’s legs while he performed two-person weight training. Meanwhile, a woman (perhaps a trainer or mother) was guiding a 7-8 year-old boy through dumbbell exercises and allowing him to use the Matrix weight machines on his own. While it’s wonderful to see families encouraging fitness, I’m concerned about safety in the gym environment. The children were occupying equipment and moving unpredictably, which posed potential risks for other guests. Many adult guests, including myself, felt unsafe and chose to avoid the gym during this time. Though the recent power shortage wouldn’t deter us from visiting again, we do feel that ensuring adult guests’ safety and maintaining proper gym etiquette should be a priority. Perhaps clearer age restrictions or supervision rules could be enforced in the gym room (noted its also entrance to the pool at the gym) to avoid accidents and maintain a safe space for all ages guests or just be a kid gym only
