Interior was clean, but maintenance was poor. No lock on back door. No roll bar on toilet tissue dispenser. Lots of holes in blacktop in parking lot and driveway. Very courteous staff and very clean room. Just a little effort and it could be nice.

Accidentally reserved this hotel in a Saginaw, Michigan. Meaning to reserve in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. Immediately, within minutes, tried to contact hotel to switch the reservation to Mt Pleasant. No on would answer the phone for 45 minutes and once they did, they refused because there was no manager present on the premises. This is just bad business. We were still staying at a Quality Inn. They too tried to contact the Saginaw location several times but got no answer. Just beyond frustrating.

The staff were extremely friendly. The hotel itself was outdated with drywall peeling and what looked to be water damage on the hallway walls. The stairwell going to the second floor smelled as if people smoked non stop in it. Walls seemed thin, we could hear everyone talking next to us and in the hall way. Parking lot is dark and tons of potholes. Would spend an extra 20 a night and go across the street.

It was an ok stay for the price. Bed was comfortable. Did not have water because of broken pipe and didn’t get notified until next day. The phones should be operable. It is an easy convenience to get a wake up call or get information about anything room related.
