Comfortable and charming rooms. Everything I needed for a short visit. It’s a real treat to be greeted with chocolate and fresh bottled water upon arrival.
Was close to things, but far enough from the dangerous parts of Saginaw. Place was quaint, the staff was nice. Our room had some issues witht the thermostat, but we eventually figured out how to keep our room cool.
The only issue we encountered was the extreme heat on the second floor at night. Otherwise it was a very nice getaway for my wife and I with peace and relaxation.
Clean, comfortable room. Loved the hotel itself and historic feel. Didn't get the experience some others did of staff sharing about the history of the building which I would have been interested to hear, or any interest in me as a customer despite them not being busy that night at all.
Great historic place to stay. No Fridge available in the room but otherwise a great location, bed was very comfortable and breakfast was good. Stayed in the converted garage which was super quiet and cozy. Will definitely be staying again next year for the convention.
Wonderful place to stay. So much history. Very beautiful. Our bed was comfortable. Lighting was sparse. Could use a lamp or too.

Liked: Staff & service
Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities
The property is old and in need of updates and a refresh. I was unable to control the temperature in my room as it is centrally controlled (it blew cold air all night). The staff were friendly and accomodating. I can see the owners are trying to make the best of what they have so the intent of this review is not to find fault but to be transparent.
Wonderful stay! Historic, quiet and cozy. Staff was amazing, friendly and knowledgeable about the history. Breakfast was great. Stayed in the Acker suite, which has a prive sitting area and bathroom with a jacuzi tub, perfect for a couple to enjoy. We will certainly be coming back!
