Elegant in a funky, retro way with the old buildings, and modern decor. Feels dignified and historic. Tue airplane murals on the walls excited my husband, I kinda liked the retro crystal lampshades. I’ve stayed at this hotel twice now, and both times I felt safe during my stay, which is always a top priority. That said, the surrounding area isn’t the best, and it does seem like there may be some long-term residents on the property. On the positive side, the staff has been consistently friendly and welcoming at check-in, which made the experience smoother. The rooms were clean during both of my stays, which I really appreciated. One downside is that in the building I stayed in, there was no working elevator, which could be inconvenient depending on your needs. Overall, it’s a decent option for a short stay, especially if you’re looking for something affordable and clean.
