nice people
clean up the shower and if room is booked for 3 people supply 3 towels.
I needed a place basically to crash after a long day at the Convention Center. So I wanted a cheap hotel nearby, and I got what I paid for. I'm not going to talk about the hard bed, because I actually like a hard bed and I slept fine. But it was a pretty rickety place, the bathroom had a shower from the 1970's with black mildew around shower door, so I didn't use it. The front door didn't have a safety lock because it looked like it had been ripped out of the wall and never put back on. The street noise was right out my window. And I wouldn't have felt safe walking around the neighborhood after dark. I feel like for the "quality" of this type of motel, I should have paid half of what I paid for 1 night.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
A Bit Run Down
I got the feeling that this place needs to be redecorated, it has seen better days. The high speed internet wasn't, and the wall paper was peeling in the bathroom. The service was friendly, but the breakfast was something to miss. As budget accommodation I got what I paid for, but I've seen better in this price range.
Very basic if you need rock bottom travel budget and close access to capitol
Over all sucks unless you need cheap proximity to legisalture.

A single in Downtown Sacramento.
A nice, cheap, clean place to stay downtown. If you aren't entertaining and don't want to blow the travel budget on a day or two in town. Close to Capitol, Convntion Center and Capitol Mall. Free parking.
Property run town and poorly maintained. Room poorly cleaned and it was obvious that there is no inspection of the rooms after cleaning. Personnel unkept and not presentable. Very disappointed in facility and its personnel considering it is located in the heart of downtown Sacramento.
Approxiately 2:30am on a friday night a group of hotel patrons returned to the motel. they were sufficiently loud as to wake us shouting racial slurs. this would continue to 4:30am and only ceased after the arrival of the police. it is understood that the motel cant be held responsible for the actions of it's customers but they are responsible to the rest of us when things go wrong. i found the management to be slow to respond and for the most part unapologetic. one patron claimed a 10% price adjustrment but because i had paid online the hoops to jump through were too much for a small price adjustment but i did leave my cell number for the manager to call which didnt happen. 10% is a pitiful adjustment for what occured. the continental breakfast was tasty.
This is a motel like facility. Only advantage is that is in 4 blocks away from Sacramento Conference Center, has free parking and is moderately priced. It is a bare bones operation.
