If you are passing the wine route, dont hesitate to include a stay at The Manor House Celeiros. Stylish, service oriented and beautiful landscape. We spent a night at their restaurant where we enjoyed the "menú degustación" - well prepared and very well presented and fair priced. The best wishes Kahla Family

Room and environs were beautiful! Staff (Daniel) very nice and helpful! I was a bit disappointed that some of the activities offered online were unavailable (bicycles). Restaurant and wine tasting experiences very disappointing tho not necessarily a reflection on the manor house itself.

Remarkable property, grand spaces, pool overlooking wine covered hills. Ask for corner room if possible, it came with small balcony and views from multiple directions. The Quinta is located at the end of the most interesting winding road up from Pinhao.

You must have a car while visiting this property. Otherwise there is nothing to do. There is a very nice outdoor pool that is not heated. So it must be warm enough outside to enjoy it. The hotel offers a nice breakfast. There is no bar or restaurant at the hotel. About a half mile walk from the hotel is a very expensive restaurant with a limited menu. I don't believe it is open for lunch. Another reason you need a car. During check in I noticed a large hose slightly larger than a dryer hose going into one of the rooms down the hallway. I inquired about it and the staff said it was for construction. After checking into our downstairs room which was very nice ( the hotel is a beautiful property with beautiful views of the vineyards and countryside) we went for a walk on the property. We noticed a red truck in the courtyard with a hose going inside the hotel. This was the hose I saw earlier. The truck said Heatwork, Rentokil. My wife believed it was for the killing of bedbugs. We left the next day one day earlier than our planned stay and were not given a refund. The hotel did not answer or reply to my calls or email when asking for a refund for the one night. In summary, a great place to stay if you have a car and just want to chill at the pool.

Casale gentilizio arredato con gusto con un invidiabile posizione tra colline disegnate da vigneti. Piscina di buone dimensioni. Camere spaziose e letti molto confortevoli. La pulizia delle camere lascia a desiderare, troppa polvere vicino le finestre e mancanza di un frigorifero in camera che non si addice ad un albergo di livello. O hotel fica na Quinta do Portal, uma casa de fazenda bem adaptada para hotel. O quarto e wc grande, varanda e bem decorada. O café da manhã maravilhoso. Um detalhe só, as estrada do restaurante para o hotel por 2 vezes ficou bloqueada por carros entregando mercadoria para o restaurante e tivemos que esperar a operação.
