Wonderful time in Saarbruecken

Hotel was easy to find, reception is on the second floor of the building, check in was very quick. Room was perfect for my stay in Saarbruecken, breakfast was a great way to start the day. Europa Galerie, train station and lots of shops and restaurants in the area make it a great place to stay

Very comfortable stay, close to everything (in the middle of shopping district), walking distance to many coffee shops and restaurants, and it was a very modern and clean hotel. I would totally recommend it!

Sehr gute Lage am Anfang der Fußgängerzone. Modern eingerichtetes relativ neues Hotel. Top WLAN. Leider keine eigenen Parkplätze aber mehrere Parkhäuser in unmittelbarer Nähe. Kurzparkbereich vor der Tür. Gemütlicher Frühstücksbereich.

Gutes Hotel in zentraler Lage mit Parkmöglichkeit nicht weit weg jedoch mit 19€ nicht ganz billig. Aufenthalt war sehr gut, kritisieren könnte man den langsamen Check In. Das Zimmer war etwas staubig ansonsten aber sauber und im Frühstücksraum sollten auch die Sitzgelegenheiten mal abgewischt werden.

Probleme beim Auschecken

Ich habe am 31.12.24 abends eingecheckt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Auschecken am 01.01.25 war nicht so angenehm wie das Einchecken. Ich wurde vom Personal nach meinem Namen gefragt. Als ich gefragt habe, warum sie den Namen wissen wollen (mein Name ist ja im System hinterlegt) beim auschekken, hat der Mitarbeiter behauptet, dass sie das zur Kontrolle machen und das manche Gäste nicht selbst auschecken und andere auschecken lassen. Danach ging es weiter und der Mitarbeiter behauptete, dass ich 3 Zimmer bezahlt hätte und das vierte Zimmer nicht bezahlt worden wäre (alle 4 Zimmer wurden abends mit der Kreditkarte bezahlt und auch abends von meiner Karte abgebucht). Er behauptete auch, dass das vierte Zimmer ein Sonderzimmer sei und ich es bar bezahlen müsse. Ich hatte kein Sonderzimmer und habe auch 4 gleiche Zimmer gebucht. Der Angestellte hat auch gesagt, dass ich nett mit ihm reden soll. Ich habe ganz normal mit ihm geredet, nur weil ich das vierte Zimmer nicht bar bezahlen wollte, weil es schon bezahlt war, hat er behauptet, dass ich nicht freundlich zu ihm sei. Es ist einfach eine Frechheit wie das Personal mit mir und meiner Familie umgeht. Ich reise privat und geschäftlich sehr viel und so etwas habe ich bis jetzt noch nirgends erlebt!!!

Das Hotel ist gut gelegen direkt in der Nähe des Hauptbahnhofes und der Saarbrücker Fußgängerzone. Obwohl das Hotel erst 2024 eröffnet wurde und auch auf den ersten Blick freundlich und hipp wirkt, hat sich gefühlt schon der "Schlendrian" bezüglich der Sauberkeit eingeschlichen. Auf der Ablage des Bettes konnten schon Botschaften in den Staub geschrieben werden. Auf Grund des Gesamtdesigns in Grau/Schwarz mit Spots sah man auch bei Bewegungen den Staub fliegen. Flecken auf den Bettlaken führten nicht zum Austausch der Bettwäsche sondern wurden über mehrere Tage ignoriert! Die Parkplatzsituation ist äußerst unbefriedigend, da man ein Ausfahrtsticket pro Tag erwerben kann (dadurch 19€ statt 25€ für den Tagestarif ab 7h). Wenn während des Tages ein Zwischenauftenhalt im Hotel ansteht, gibt es neue Parkgebühren. Unser Hinweis, dass es doch eine Idee wäre eine wirkliche Tagesflat anzuregen wurde mit dem Hinweis abgetan: "Wenn Sie möchten, können Sie gerne alternativ woanders parken!" Das wird am Ende nicht gefragt wurden, wie es uns gefallen hat, hat wohl seine Gründe ;-) ! Die grundsätzlich freundlichen Mitarbeiter und das gut sortierte Frühstück haben den Gesamteindruck etwas verbessert!
