Friendly, welcoming staff and a comfortable, clean hotel with sea views in the heart of town. Free adjacent on-street parking overnight and paid car parks within walking distance. If you’re a light sleeper, be warned the internal soundproofing isn’t brilliant and there’s also a late night pub nearby.
My only complaint is that because I booked via a third party, I wasn’t sent a Travelodge booking reference and it cost me over £3 to call the hotel directly to confirm the booking had in fact gone through.
Super-nice staff, wonderful location next to main street, but VERY quiet. No food service but tons of choices minutes away. Modern and clean. Walk down to the beach for a swim, walk along the shore and stop for a pint. Very convenient also to the Bus and Train terminal. Easy bus ride to Osborne Castle on bus 9.
Clean. Extra bed in the room which was neither requested or needed which limited space. No drawer space at all and only 4 hangers. Issue on arrival as they were unable to locate the reservation. Conveniently located near the town centre but no apparent parking. A short bus ride to the front. Convenient for public transport to other areas of the island . no dining or bar facilities. Reception not always manned.

I have to remember that we paid less than £50 per night. Everything in the room was as it should be, however, we were the ground floor with a view of the bins. There was no net curtain so people would be able to see straight in so couldn’t have any natural sunlight or open a window (no fan in the bathroom so nowhere for the shower steam to go). Quite busy around the bins throughout the night, fortunately our daughter can sleep through most things, unfortunately I can’t. There is NO designated parking or breakfast. I brought dry breakfast things with us but could have done with a mini fridge for milk etc.
Beds were comfy, bathroom clean, tv worked and super cheap to stay.
I liked the fact that they had a lift as well as stairs! It was very clean and quiet. The sign in and out procedures were very simple and straightforward. There was no restaurant on the premises but there were many eating facilities in the area.
Really nice stay here, great location, only a short walk up the hill from the ferry and hovercraft. Will definitely be staying here again.

Parking was a great issue i wasnt happy leaving my new car in a council carpark over night especially when there were people sleeping rough around there. Great location for restaurants beach and shop's staff was friendly and breakfast pack was very expensive
The hotel was ideal for our short stay in Ryde. It was clean, good value and very Central to the station, beach and all amenities we needed.
Although the hotel is next door to a pub and it was New Year's Eve, our room was quiet and we had a good night's sleep.
A couple more pictures on the walls would have enhanced the room but a good basic standard.

Perfect for what I needed
I stay in a lot of low budget hotels and guest houses, both in the UK & abroad, and I have to say this is probably as good as it gets.
This was perfect for what I wanted: A spotless clean, no frills comfortable room with a spotless clean en suite shower, and lovely staff
