“East to find nice and clean let down by no welcome pack , really badly scratched non stick pan (should be binned) biggest problem no ventilation at all in the
bedroom small rooflight in the small ensuite .booked for a week left 2 days early due to no way of getting any fresh air in the bedroom way to warm. A rooflight in the bedroom would solve the problem .”

“We had a lovely stay. The cottage is beautiful and kept really well. There is ample parking and a café next door. There's not much more than that around without a car though, but it's very peaceful.”

“Loved this country house hotel. Very charming and close proximity to Chester and its zoo. Only 30 mins away from Manchester Airport so would definitely consider staying here if flying from there. Hotel is set in beautiful grounds. Has its own restaurant but we didn’t eat here as some lovely local places to sample.
Staff were very helpful and our room was comfortable and cosy. Would certainly recommend.
Breakfast was lovely. Freshly cooked and plentiful”

“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here overall, but the experience was bookended by two entirely different worlds.
Check-in on the afternoon of 18 August was an absolute breeze—the receptionist who assisted me was a proper professional, welcoming and efficient, setting a cracking first impression.
Unfortunately, check-out on the morning of 19 August (around 10:00 a.m.) was an absolute shambles that completely derailed an otherwise brilliant stay, courtesy of the two older reception staff....

“Set in the quiet countryside, access is down a private drive leading to a secure carpark in front of the main building. The staff were very welcoming and the food served was very nice. Our room was very comfortable and we enjoyed our weekend”
