“East to find nice and clean let down by no welcome pack , really badly scratched non stick pan (should be binned) biggest problem no ventilation at all in the bedroom small rooflight in the small ensuite .booked for a week left 2 days early due to no way of getting any fresh air in the bedroom way to warm. A rooflight in the bedroom would solve the problem .”

“We had a lovely stay. The cottage is beautiful and kept really well. There is ample parking and a café next door. There's not much more than that around without a car though, but it's very peaceful.”

“Truly wonderful staff, great food, lovely overall ambience. Our mattress was very hard and the bed frame creaked badly which led to disturbed sleep. Breakfast was very good and the bar area and restaurant are lovely places to spend time in.”

“Unfortunately I was there where a group of children were there for a horse show , no adult supervision, running up and down the corridor’s , banging on doors and shouting . Management tried to stop them, but they carried on until 11.30 pm . I will definitely go again as a super hotel and spa 😊”

“Setting is stunning. Good gorgeous and rooms really lovely and comfy. Staff are really helpful and friendly. Totally recommend a visit.”

“We stayed in this glorious hotel overnight as a family of three plus our dog. We had the most wonderfully warm welcome upon our arrival and this was further enhanced by the rustic charm that this lovely hotel exuded by way of its decor. We adore a vintage aesthetic so its appearance resonated with us immediately. Richard and his wife were fabulous hosts and the continental breakfast that they served to us this morning was very impressive .. warm croissants, toast, cereal and an array of fresh...

“Lovely Hotel, booked a suite gorgeous decor, one complaint please purchase new pillows they were like bricks, both come away with sore necks, food and drink good, drinks at bar reasonably priced, Hotel has a very chilled vibe, would defo return for a weekend away, imagine in summer even nicer sitting out in the gardens. Used pool, jacuzzi and steam room all good, clean and not to busy, don’t hesitate on booking a stay lovely hotel all staff really helpful and friendly x”

“We had a very pleasant stay overall. The hotel staff were friendly, welcoming and always helpful. The property was clean and well maintained, and the lobby was a lovely place to relax and spend time with friends. Breakfast wasn’t particularly extensive, but it offered a good enough selection of both hot and cold options to leave us feeling satisfied. Unfortunately, the hotel restaurant was a little disappointing. Not all menu options were available, and the quality of the food we ordered...

“Have stayed here numerous times, Food is good & comfortable room.”

“A very pleasant quiet hotel with comfortable room and a very good breakfast and service.”

“Lovely building but service is poor and the food/breakfast is terrible. Cleaning not great either. We stayed in a room with multiple power cable extension leads/plugs Daisy chained across the floor… no way this is legal in UK. ”

“Lovely hotel, gorgeous room, very well appointed. Would loved to have stayed longer.”
