We hadn’t visited Grand Summit for a while, but upon our return improvements to the facility made our visit very enjoyable. In particular, the upgrade to the pool area with resurfacing and the addition of a new hot tub was a major improvement. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast in Camp was outstanding!!

This is a decent property but it is quite outdated. No streaming ability on TV’s, limited electric receptacles, small bathrooms, hot water issues, ceilings are noisy when people in room above walk around and no shop on property.

South wing very far from main lobby, handicap parking at south entrance is limited and far from south wing entrance .. closest single door was not handicap friendly. South wing entrance cement needs repair ramp cracked and uneven , hard to roll wheelchair

The dining room closed at 8 pm, a little early for our taste. The layout of the hotel included very long corridors, which would have been a problem for anyone with mobility issues.

Great Stay

Amazing stay at Grand Summit. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. After hitting the slopes for Sunday River's "not really opening day" on Halloween the hot tub and sauna were a radical way to rejuvenate. The cuisine at the on site restaurant "Camp" was superb. Highly recommend the cheesy short rib fries.

The hotel was in a great location. Very nice property. We were disappointed that our room was overlooked and not cleaned while staying there. After being gone all day, we had to call the front desk and ask for new towels, coffee, etc.

the hotel was in need of renovation, constant rumbling of hvac equipment was a nighttime distraction making a poor sleep. Restaurant food was limited and over priced. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Had a problem with the AC in the first room.Hotel was very attentive to the problem and gave us an upgrade to a beautiful suite.The maintenance man was very helpful as was the front desk. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again.Thanks

Did not give us the room we reserved and we had to wait 2 hrs to get a room even after arriving in time for check in . We boom 2 bed standard room but the gave us studio deluxe which had one bed and one sofa bed .

Noise!! When parents let their children have full on races down the hallways at 9:45 pm, complete with 1, 2, 3 Go! and six kids pound twelve feet repeatedly down the hallway, I give a poor rating. When I mentioned this to management, they suggested I call them is the folowing night was the same. It was, called the desk only to receive no answer. For what I paid for the stay, you would expect a bit more of a response.

NOT Electric Vehicle Friendly

Loved our stay however...the 2 EV chargers offered were EXTREMELY SLOW. It took all night to charge 30% of my battery. You will see MANY more EV's in the years to come and you must improve the speed and number of available charge stations

Overall a disappointing experience. Property is very dated. Maintenance and updating have obviously been deferred. Perhaps that is what lead to a false fire alarm going off at 2:30 AM. All the manager would do was say “sorry”; all I’d asked for was my breakfast to be covered (a cost to the property of about $5), and he refused. 2/5; would not recommend. I won’t be returning.

The facilities are great - though the pool access is a little odd. My only real complaint was the beds. It was a very busy weekend and all we were able to book was a room with a Murphy bed and sofa bed. Both were terrible. The Murphy bed was extremely loud and uncomfortable and the sofa bed had a bar in the middle that dug into my ribs when I laid down. My daughter is small enough that she couldn't feel the bar and my wife and I put the Murphy bed mattress on the floor the second night. Friends in another room with normal beds had no complaints. I spoke with the desk clerk and she offered to change rooms but they only had Murphy/sofa beds available. I was very disappointed that the hotel would offer beds this bad - especially given the price. I can understand the utility of these as a secondary room in a suite, but the quality has to be better if they're going to charge the same rate. I would consider staying here again, but only if a room with normal beds was available.
