EXPEDIA miss represented these cabins… Look at the company, upper canyon lodging website ahead of time. When booking through Expedia you don’t really know which cabin you’re going to get assigned to. Aside from that. These cabins definitely aren’t worth the money you’re going to pay for. You’ll get one towel, it’s pretty dirty. On the bright side, it’s in a great area, it has great amenities… I guess it’s cozy… it was great to take all my crap out of my truck from my long road trip and clean up and recollect… for what it’s worth I enjoyed my stay for the privacy and convenience of staying in a cabin vs a hotel and being able to back my truck up to the stairs. There was elk in the yard so that was a plus.. decide for yourself but there’s definitely better cabins to stay in. All in all, I wouldn’t spend the money to stay there again. Btw the lighter has no lighter fluid in it. So you guys need to replace that.. definitely need to provide more than one towel… upgrade the pillows atleast! OMG clean the box fan please.

We had a great time at whispering pines. The place was great for our small family. We enjoyed sitting out front and letting our kids play in nature. We met the owners and they were very kind. The only problem was the smell inside our cabin. Not entirely sure what it was, but it didn’t make or break our stay. We would stay again.

Property was inexpensive for the area with a great outdoor environment. However, the cabin had very little storage and none for clothes. We were told the kitchen had a full cook stove but it only had a cook top .. no oven. Also, there wasn't a dining table for meals not even on the deck. Space around the king-size bed was so limited that I had to crawl into bed from the foot. Owner should have a better description for this cabin which was called Acorn. Other cabins were bigger.

Stayed here for the weekend and loved it!

My SO and I stay for a quick weekend getaway at the Pinecone Cabin. Below is our review: Pros: The jet tub was amazing its works and we both could fit in it. The cabin was clean and smelled nice when we arrived. For a small space it was spacious and open with plenty of room for two people. If you wake up early enough deer walk by the cabins in the morning. They provide a microwave, mini refrigerator, coffee pot, dishes, dish soap, towels, washcloths, and soap bars. Cons: The water pressure is low so it does take a minute to fill the tub. Shower is not made for two and it’s a bit small. Bed is firm, but the pillows were soft so I used pillows for cushion and my SO enjoyed sleeping on the rock. Pro they provide a lot of pillows! Other things to note: The cabin is in a community of a cabins so you’re in the woods, but will have neighbors nearby. This didn’t bother us just wasn’t what I had excepted. You will need to bring own shampoo/conditioner/body wash etc. All in all, this was a pleasant getaway for us we would recommend this place to friends/family and definitely will be back!

The property is so peaceful and beautiful. The cabin was cozy. On the rustic side, which is fine. The staff, Amanda, were very helpful. The cabin itself is dusty with lots of cobwebs. It just needs a dusting!
