“Fire alarms were being updated on our arrival. We had access to the room but electricians needed to keep returning! Our room was not what we expected from when we made the booking! Super King! With an Iron framed bed with a mattress that didn’t really fit properly, and in what we would class a double room! Both myself and my husband caught our legs on one of the corners when going around the bed! Spoke to a member of staff regarding the room but they simply said that the room we had was...

“This place has so much potential.. it needs a complete refurb.. Lacks personality and charm.. in fact it has none. The lighting alone makes you feel you are in a hospital waiting room. The bar staff were lovely but the receptionists are not the best not welcoming at all.”

“Staff on check in were really lovely, friendly and helpful. Carried our suitcases upstairs which was much appreciated and provided iron and ironing board within minutes. Room 14 is a safety hazard! Tiny step in to the bathroom which is really easy to miss and I actually had a bad fall when staying. There's also a step down in to the bedroom part of the room, so be really careful if you stay in this room. Someone had pre set an alarm on the TV to 5:45am so if you stay here, make sure to check...
