We had a great, impromptu weeknight stay. The pool was wonderful for a quick dip, and the restaurant on site was delicious. Also appreciated the free breakfast spread in the morning! We will be back.

Everything here is maintained to a high standard. The grounds are immaculate, our room was large and spotless. Our only interaction was with the desk clerk. She was delightful. We only stayed for one night, and since there was a wedding reception going on in the restaurant we didn’t dine there. We did enjoy an evening nightcap on the porch rocking chairs. Breakfast the next morning had only a few selections, but my muffin was delicious, as was the coffee I selected from the lobby machine. We consumed our pastries on the same porch rocking chairs. All in all, a very enjoyable stay. We would certainly return if we are looking for lodging in the area again.

Beautiful inn right in between Newburyport and Ipswich, great location. Staff was very helpful, spa was relaxing, grounds lovely and room clean and very spacious. Unfortunately we couldn’t eat at the restaurant because there was a function.

This is truly a very lovely and special inn. Everything was clean and well kept, lawn and lawn games looked inviting, the shared reading spaces were peaceful. We just should’ve done our research beforehand, because we didn’t realize the restaurant was closed two of the three nights we were there. But we’re so happy we discovered this wonderful place!
