Had a wonderful stay at Nova Skyland. The rooms were stunning and clean, the staff was exceptionally helpful, food was great, location was central and easy to get around. Could not recommend highly enough.

Superb stay in Rovaniemi

A very enjoyable stay in a unique hotel that was spacious and comfortable including your own personal sauna and huge windows for stargazing. Staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Also, a 5 minute walk to Santa’s village, 15 minute drive to downtown Rovaniemi and about 8 me minutes from the airport.

The staff are very nice. They got us a big take-away breakfast after knew that we woke up late tmr for the icebreak cruise. The house are wonderful. The sauna also is a definitely great advantage for the stay.

Perfect stay

Perfect house, perfect location, perfect hotel restaurant! Just 5 minutes walk to Santa Claus village. All parts in the house are in perfect condition, especially there’s private sauna in each house, an enjoyable stay. Also, I sent the massage to celebrate my lover’s birthday at the very last minute and the hotel did tried their best to help with the arrangement. The hotel restaurant is totally underrated and it only got 4.6 in Google. However, after having dinner in surrounding restaurant with a high-score, I think this restaurant should be the best one.

Great location

We had a great time at Nova Skyland Hotel. It was a 5 days trip (4 nights) family trip to Rovaniemi. We were not lucky to have a proper winter weather on the first two days and the hotel location, walking distance from Santa Claus Village, plus the option for staying at Nordic Cottage saved our trip. Breakfast was good. The room cleaning could be better, as we found some hair in the bathroom.

Clean and beautiful hotel! The room is perfectly clean. Sauna is absolutely great. The santa villege is ok for the off-season in August. The choice of restaurants was limited. I wanted to try dinner of the restaurant of this hotel, but it was closed due to the season.

Stay here for 3 nights. Loved the in-room saunas, location and the staff was friendly and helpful. A couple of things. There are no thermostats in the rooms and the temperature is kept quite warm. If you are a hot sleeper, this could be a problem.

One of the next hotels I have stayed in so far. The wooden house was very cute and clean. It’s double-decked and super spacious. The staff were very friendly, particularly a male staff who speaks Cantonese who introduced our room to us patiently. One bad thing is the la k of autograph alarm.

We booked here thinking it was more remote than it actually was. It's on the same complex as Santa Claus Village which was a surprise. The hotel was very good though. We had a cottage which was clean and spacious with a private sauna. The only disappointing thing was that there were no music channels on the TV, v limited channels when you want to stay in and relax. The breakfast was great and all staff friendly and helpful. Recommended.

This hotel and room is beautiful, however it is not ideal if you want to see the northern lights, because it is inside Santa Claus Village and they keep lights on 24/7. You will only see the aurora if there are zero clouds and they are very strong in the sky. If it is cloudy you’ll see the reflection of the light pollution in the village. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay. The amenities in the room are great, the bed is comfortable, and the staff is very professional and nice.

Everything is excellent. The dinner I enjoyed very much, the salmon and the beef were delicious, even the breads were so good. The staffs in restaurant were very nice, and the reception provided an unforgettable experience for both of us, especially who assisted to bring our luggages, led us to the room, instructed us the room conditions. Every staff’s smile brought us warmth and joy. The room is extremely good with sauna included. Just one thing the hotel may improve is to turn off the road lights which may lower the visibility of seeing northern lights. And we still thank for everything.
