Hotel was very clean. And shower was great condition. Hotel in a great location, only being a 5 minute walk from the central station. Beds were a bit hard, and the room was quite warm, but aside from this, would definitely recommend.

Really enjoyable one night stay. I was concerned when reading reviews of poor AC and noise issues on a Saturday Night. I stayed on a hot Saturday night with no issues. Staff were lovely and the breakfast was first class. Nice and central hotel, near Beurs Metro, I would stay again.

The room was good, clean, excellent shower, bed and a desk. Did not try the breakfast. Although the room was great and I will certainly return, some of the other areas of the hotel were a little tired and outdated. No bar on-site is a limitation too because sometimes you don’t want to leave the hotel but want to get out of the room. Location was excellent. Staff was friendly.

Good location, very easy to get to from the airport and easy to get around the city as its very central. Rooms clean and everything worked, the only slight complaint was that used glasses weren't replaced, and tea/coffee didn't get topped up in the room.

Location is good, close to Markthal, shopping street. Staff is helpful. Hotel is old and needs restoration like scratch marks on window pane and the rubber caulking is peeling off. Don't know what happened that Friday night. It seems cars were racing against each other. There were honking, backfiring, people shouting, yelling and went on till about 2am.

The hotel has a lot of very nice original features. Some of the features could do with being updated or refreshed. Unfortunately, the hotel is situated in a very busy area and as there are no double glasing and no air conditioning, it does get really noisy (noise from the road), and very warm.

I switched rooms, because of an odd odor in the first one...which didnt seem to surprise the desk. There was no problem to switch, but seemed odd. No bar or cafe is challenging as the area of the city is very quiet for places guests could benefit with a space to socialise. The automatic till for snacks makes it seem like a cheaper status hotel.

When we arrived to our room, we found out there was no air-con. We inquired if we could get 1 with aircon but none were available, so we were given a dusty fan. We were in a balcony room, so we had a door and window that we could leave open but in a heat wave, where shops and local restaurants were closed, you'd think they'd supply some air con units to the guests. The room was extremely stuffy, made me feel quite unwell and almost unbearable on the 1st 2 nights. Unfortunately, we were also kept awake by the hooting of car horns, traffic noise, the squealing of car tyres of vehicles racing in the car park next door and on the main road. The hotel is situated by the main road of shopping and above the side road with the car parks for shopping. The hotel blamed this noise on the football celebrations, but during the day we witnessed cars racing each other on side & main roads, most cars had what would be illegal exhaust pipes in the UK. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again, as even wearing ear plugs didn't stop the constant noise, and we never had a good night's sleep the whole time we were there. Very disappointing, for the money paid.
