Clean, comfortable, quiet. This place smells very strongly of rotten eggs, like all of Rotorua, so if that's a deterrent, I may suggest not staying anywhere in Rotorua. That said, while there are aspects of this hotel that are quite dated (like the reception area), it's clear they've put some money into upkeep (like with the hotel stairs and the individual rooms). It's not a 5 star hotel (no view, no pool/gym, limited reception hours, etc.) but for the money you pay and the type of hotel/motel it is, this spot is as good as it gets!
