Upon checking in, the gentleman that checked us in must of had a hell of a day as he was unwelcoming, stone cold, no information regarding amenities of the hotel. Had a really great stay at Rydges Rotorua. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well looked after. The staff were fabulous and very friendly throughout my stay. There was an issue with the WiFi in my room, that seemed to be isolated to that room only. The team investigated and when couldn't resolve it moved me to another room, which solved the problem straight away. Overall, very happy with the stay and would definitely come back.

A bit disappointed about the "deluxe" room, quite small and simple, the bathroom had a old bathtub as a shower, a bit old fashioned. The hotel was quite and we enjoyed the heated pool. At the arrival the staff was not very friendly but after we could sort out a wrong booking, at the end very helpful.
