Pullman Rotorua is in a great central location in the heart of town. The staff, the few there were, were friendly. The robots all smiled. The check-in offerings to type your personal details into a giant screen, visible to everyone nearby, wasn't a great initial impression. Fortunate that I am tall and physically capable of using this self service offering. Valet parking puts your car into an open air carpark next to the hotel, and there is no self service guest laundry, and the hotel's laundry prices are excessive. Breakfast is good but definitely not a 5 star offering. The open plan bathroom was also a surprise for the privacy-condcious. Fantastic location and nearby Eat Street was a good dinner choice
