It was nice on a budget with a kitchen. Near to the city centre. Lake front lake was just at the back side. Bit outdated building. Had spa. My kid loved the spa. I did not like towels- the color was little like light muddy color. Overall a nice motel.

We had a really lovely stay here over the weekend. The staff were fantastic — friendly, welcoming and genuinely helpful — and the hotel itself was lovely. I’d noticed some of the less-than-great reviews before staying, so we weren’t quite sure what to expect. Yes, the hotel is a little dated in places, but honestly, if you’re travelling around New Zealand, that’s hardly unusual — especially in Rotorua! For us, it was clean, comfortable, had everything we needed and the staff really made the stay. We were very happy with our experience and would happily stay again. 😊

The room was large 66 square meters, warm, equipped well. It’s in front of Rotorua lake, close to the Government House. We dipped in the spa pool that was barely able to stay in as the temperature wasn’t hot enough. So does hot pool. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay. We will use this motel again.
