Great space with comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen and bathroom. All the items you need in a small apartment. Cons- Bedside lamp would be a nice for reading and not having the overhead lights on. Traffic noise was loud at times but just in the front room. Check in and out was quick and easy. Overall, we had a very comfortable two night stay.

Perfect for families! We are super impressed staying at this little apartment. It was perfect for our families needs, very clean and tidy, the host was lovely and welcoming. It was spacious and had a great layout and it was so warm when we checked in, with extra heaters/cooling fans. The main living had a king single and a double pull out sofa bed. It has a well equipped kitchen. Then off the kitchen through the door is a mini hallway with closet space, iron and hair dryer + the bathroom. The bathroom had a heated toilet seat, shower with body wash, shampoo, conditioner, very hot water and great water pressure. Back into the closet area through another door is a queen bedroom and the spa area. I love that you have two doors to close off from the kitchen living area for those watching TV. It also has a communal laundry area on site. The spa was great way to rest after walking and taking in the sites. We normally stay at the Pullman or Millennium, but needed a different amenities and the apartment was more suitable with the kids to come and go. It was also very quiet considering it was fully occupied, we didn’t hear any of the guests.

Great property,centrally located, very close to shopping,restaurants and centrally located. She was so kind and let us check in at noon.This helped so much since we drove from out of town. Great value,very comfortable unit. The beds were amazing. Kitchenette was so good to have. Laundry was pleasant surprise.

This accommodation is a hidden gem! It’s incredibly close to the Maori Village, offering a perfect blend of convenience and tranquility. The free access to laundry facilities and BBQ grills was a huge bonus. Although I didn’t have time to try the sauna due to my short itinerary, I’m already looking forward to my next visit. The front desk staff were exceptional—they even fixed a broken button on my shirt! A wonderful stay all around.

A dream stay for mountain biking enthusiasts! The dedicated bike-washing area is super convenient. The in-room smart toilet was an amazing surprise, and having my own private hot tub was the cherry on top. It was the perfect way to unwind after a long day of riding. To top it off, the bedding was incredibly comfortable. Can’t recommend this place enough!

The room itself was immaculate and there was a friendly welcome. It was a great location and overall we were happy. We had a family room and perhaps a couple of the beds were intended for children - we were a family of three adults. The pullout sofa bed and the single bed were a little uncomfortable but everything else was fine. There was an opportunity to use an outdoor pool (heated with thermal water) but the water was a little cool for use in winter.

The Alpin staff were so friendly and efficient, check in was super simple and allocated parks outside each apartment were great. Overall it was as advertised, but I found a few short hairs stuck to the wall and some rubbish under the bed, and there was a funky smell in the lounge that wasn't sulphur -- I suspect the freezer as it was quite unclean. The lighting is super cold and clinical. The room got nice and warm with a strong radiator which was a plus in the winter and the bed was super big and cozy. The toilet was automatic and fancy but the shower head didn't attach well and kept falling off which was annoying. The tub outside looked super lush in the pics but you had to fill it up yourself which was a bit of a let down. Overall a fine stay.
