Liked: Cleanliness

Disliked: Amenities

The hotel was quaint and conveniently located near Old Town, with easy, free parking. Check-in was quick and efficient, and the property had the charm of a typical older bed-and-breakfast. It was adequately maintained and clean. Unfortunately, the sleeping accommodations left a lot to be desired. The beds were extremely low to the ground (approximately 12 inches), the mattresses were very firm, and the pillows were flat. The walls were also paper-thin, allowing us to hear a woman coughing throughout the night, which made getting a good night's sleep nearly impossible. Additionally, the hotel had a noticeable odor that smelled as though it had recently been treated with pest-control chemicals. On a positive note, breakfast was sufficient, nicely presented, and enjoyable. While we appreciated the convenient location, free parking, and cleanliness, the overall experience did not justify the price we paid. Unfortunately, we would not recommend this hotel or choose to stay here again.

It was a good location for exploring Rothenberg. However the rooms were very warm and there was no air conditioning. There were also no drink making facilities.
