This hotel is in the Center of where you want to be. Room was charming. Staff was very helpful and spoke English. Breakfast buffet mediocre. Didn’t get a chance to try main restaurant but it looked good.

Hotel is lovely, such a beautiful old building but rooms are modern enough. The reception staff and especially the waiting staff were beyond helpful and friendly. The bar staff in the evening were patient (we had a big group) and thoughtful, we really appreciated it. Would definitely recommend staying here

Very good location in the thick of this beautiful medieval city. The mattress was too soft and a very heavy duvet on the bed in July. The hotel does not have air conditioning so the room was very warm. Opening the windows was helpful but then you had the street noise and the smell of cigarette smoke coming into your room. The breakfast was expensive so we opted out. There was no complimentary water or coffee in the lobby like there usually is in German hotels.

This hotel completely exceeded my expectations. The property is pure grandeur—rich in history and boasting an incredibly elegant design. Staying here feels like escaping directly into medieval times, yet you still enjoy all the comfort, luxury, and cleanliness of the modern world. I would absolutely return in a heartbeat if I have the chance to come back. The breakfast buffet was beautiful, offered an amazing selection, and was worth every single penny. The only minor downside was a slightly frustrating policy regarding morning coffee. When I tried to bring my coffee back to my room to enjoy it while getting ready, the waitstaff informed me that I had to pay extra just to take it out of the dining room. This didn't make much sense to me, but it was a small blip in an otherwise beautiful experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and historic getaway!

This was a very unique hotel! Updated rooms, but hallways and restaurant area contained very cool antique furniture and pictures! Location was awesome, right in town, breakfast delightful and lots of choice, hot and cold food. Definitely worth $19. Would stay here again if in area! We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Eisenhut. The hotel is right in the heart of Rothenburg ob der Tauber, and staying inside the walls of the medieval city was a fantastic experience. We could simply walk out the door and explore the historic streets, shops, restaurants, and sights on foot. Our room was outstanding, with a comfortable bed, a beautiful bathroom, and plenty of character. The highlight was the incredible view from our room. We had an unobstructed view across the countryside beyond the town, and it was absolutely wonderful. The hotel itself has a beautiful historic atmosphere while still providing the modern comforts we wanted. It was a perfect fit for the experience of staying in Rothenburg and made the visit feel even more special. The location really could not have been better for exploring the town. We loved being able to enjoy Rothenburg in the evening and morning when things were quieter, without needing to drive anywhere. A beautiful historic hotel, fantastic views, and a wonderful place to stay while experiencing Rothenburg ob der Tauber. If you are traveling by car, make sure that you request a parking space for your stay.

The room was great! Clean and centrally located right by the center of town. If you drive, look up where to park outside the walls, unless you are fortunate to get one of the onsite parking areas. It’s not a bad walk from the city walls, though. I highly recommend the hotel!

The hotel itself is very charming. The staff was not very helpful and the room was incredibly noisy. We were spending over 180 Euros on dinner and they would only sell us water, they wouldn't provide tap water. But the room was clean and the hotel itself was charming.
