We really enjoyed our stay at The Royal. The staff were really helpful and efficient. The food was excellent and really good value for money. We ate here for two nights as it was very good. The rooms were clean and we had a lovely view of the river and the shops were close by so a nice location. You could park so everything worked well. Thankyou to everyone who works here for a very nice break. We appreciated our time there.

Beautiful view from our bedroom, but the decor of the room left a lot to be desired. The mattress was the most uncomfortable I’ve ever had the misfortune to try to sleep on and the pillows were not much better. The hotel is well located for visiting the town.

Great stay in the Royal hotel

Great Location we had room 27 which was the top floor and a fabulous view of the river. My husband had breakfast and recommended it highly , the quality of the food was excellent and the staff couldn’t do enough for you highly recommended and would stay there again ross and why and nearby towns are just very beautiful and interesting

The hotel is ideally situated for the Wye Valley with great views. We had a great room which had plenty of space including a sofa, clean, great facilities and well serviced. The breakfast was really good with a great choice and the breakfast staff were really welcoming and friendly. Also the hotel had good quality pub food at a reasonable cost.
