“Can’t say enough good things about this property! The location on the lake is fabulous and it is on the way to Connemara National Park and the coast. The two sitting rooms with fireplaces were a welcome refuge after a day of hiking and sightseeing . We were able to walk by the lake and enjoy the beautiful scenery. “I stayed at the property for two nights. The bed was about right for a single person in the room was quite small but impeccably clean as I understand. It’s very new. I tried to book again for the weekend, but the price was extremely high and I decided to go elsewhere. I found it fascinating that it was a digital check-in, but it was fast and efficient. Please note if you’re carrying luggage, you have to carry that upstairs if you’re older and your luggage is heavy that might be a consideration...

“Es un hotel pintoresco y muy distinto a todo. No es en si un castillo sino una casona antigua que fue adaptada en 1969 como hotel dándole una apariencia de castillo. Las habitaciones muy buenas y hermosas pero las áreas comunes, estancias y pasillos requieren ya de un mantenimiento mayor.”

“breakfast was great, and the staff was nice, but there was no view, no pool, and Jacuzzi and steamroom were additional, all the activities are additional. I thought it was a little pricey for what you got. They were not even any Q-tips lol”
