It was super hot when I stayed and there was only a fan, that didn't quite cut it - but as the area is nice an quiet I could keep the window open. The breakfast was phenomenal over the weekend but dropped somewhat during the week, it was still very nice but not spectacular. There are taps throughout the hotel with cold water - sparkling and still as well as two different top shelf cordials - that was my highlight along with the stunning view over the water from the many different terrasses.

The most beautiful stay at this property. It was much better than I could have imagined. The view of the fjord was breathtaking each morning. The family room was spacious and private. It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Comwell Roskilde. Here we experienced the Scandinavian hospitality and enjoyed the stylish danish design that characterises the many internal common areas in the property. The staff is helpful and was quick in solving an overbooking issue. The restaurant offers tasty food in the new Nordic style we wanted to try. Location is fantastic overlooking the fiord, with Roskilde town center at walking distance. We definitely recommend it!

This is a decent hotel, but there were a few issues. Our room had lots of spiders and moths, there were limited power outlets and the outlets were tied to the lights so you couldn’t have the fan on and the lights off. There were days it was so hot inside I couldn’t sleep (the window only opens a few inches). The hotel itself is a bit of a maze and they had the hall lights off at all hours (energy savings maybe?) which made it difficult to find your way around when it’s dark outside (what hotel keeps their lights off??). The basic rooms are extremely small, so keep that in mind when booking.
