This hotel is beautifully located on the South Umpqua River. We loved the location. It was very beautiful and quiet. There is a big renovation going on, but the outdoor area looks lovely. We had good sleeps and it’s very convenient to get to. The staff were great.

Marriott bought this a few months ago, but it has not been renovated yet. The photos were somewhat deceiving. Our stay was fine, but we expecting much more. Breakfast was good, but limited in offerings due to small breakfast area. We stayed four nights and if we wanted housekeeping, we had to ask for it. The view however was quite nice, as all rooms face the Umpqua River.

Overall it was a nice stay for a quick overnight while on a roadtrip. The bed was comfy and we didn’t hear street noise. It was quiet overall on property. It appears Marriott has bought it out and trying to do some much needed improvements. Breakfast was a little on the colder side but nothing was a deal breaker. Our room door needed some extra lift to close, bathroom still had hairs from previous guests and we found a vape in the room on a shelf. Daughter said the sofa bed was just okay and it had some issues but we managed.
