We had an amazing stay! We loved how fresh and clean the room was along with the proximity to all of the main sights of the city. It is a great place for people with children or couples that need a relaxing getaway. The breakfast was simple yet delicious (especially the juices and yogurt!) delivered right to your room. I will recommend this place to everyone no exaggeration!

Location, staff and breakfast make this a must

Great place to stay in Rome. Super convenient to walk to all main attractions, the furthest being the coliseum and that's only 20-25 minutes walk. Staff is incredibly helpful and shower pressure is awesome and very hot water. The included breakfast is so so delightful as well.

If I could give the SM Vatican ten stars, I would! Matteo and the rest of the staff were wonderful- professional, personable and so helpful. The rooms are clean, spacious and the location is perfect. We would highly recommend staying at the SM Vatican Relais!

Wonderful B&B near the Vatican

Wonderful B&B with an excellent location in Rome. Matteo was a great host - super helpful and responsive. The room is spacious, recently renovated, and very clean with a comfortable bed. We really liked the breakfast in our room concept. There are many very good restaurants and cafes nearby. We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Rome.

Fantastic room

Family of 4 from Norway stayed 5 nights. The room nr 6 exceeds most 4-stars (or even some 5*). Breakfast is served in the room at time of choice and the staff was attentive and friendly at all times. Location is great, just 8-10 min walk to the main shopping street, and 15-25 min to all main attractions. This is our new spot when in Rome. Highly recommended.

Best experience

We had a great stay at SM Vatican Relais for 3 day on jan 2022. Location is perfect to reach main areas by foot, room is newly decorated/modern design and very clean, owners of the hotel are helpful (for everything- even offering local gastronomic spots). Comparing to a named med-big size hotel chain, i can easily tell that this boutique environment was far better into all extents. Keep going Matteo and the crew!
