We had an excellent stay. The room was huge and the bed was very comfortable. It was a little noisy from the street but it really didn’t bother us much. I would definitely stay here again. You can walk to all the sights and to the all the great shops and restaurants that the Monti neighborhood had to offer.

Nice stay!

Lovely hotel, great service. However, the air conditioner barely worked for the few nights we spent. Unfortunate because the stay would have been perfect otherwise.

Every single employee at the hotel has greeted us and treated us with great kindness for the past three days. Actually, one of the waiters is going to do some research with me in Costa Rica in November. Of the hundreds of hotels where I have stayed, this is by far the best in terms of service. The staff go above and beyond. They treat us with exceptional kindness.

The hotel is nice, clean and close in proximity to a lot of tourist spots in Rome. Overall very good. The driver associated with the hotel on the other hand is awful. Reckless driver, texts while driving very fast and scammed us out of more money upon arriving at our destination.

This was our 2nd stay at tge Roma Lucus, and we thoroughly loved our stay. I booked a family room, and was a bit disappointed as it was just 2 adjoining rooms (small) no sitting area or chairs, and you had to lay on the bed in the room, so that was a bit disappointing as it is a pricey hotel, but all in all it all went smoothly and it had a/c which we were great cul for. It location is central , just steps to the forum, Palestine Hill, the colosseum and Trevi Foutian. Taxi’s are plentiful, and many fun eateries within walking distance. Would stay again, but I’ll ask lots more questions about the room, chairs are a must.

This property is NOT a 5 star property. The air conditioner didn't cool our room. There was no desk or area to sit and write in the room. Shower drain was slow & maybe clogged. The carpet was stained & the room smelled like a food odor that was not from us. Thankfully, we were only there to sleep for night to catch a plane.

We wanted so much to like this property. The location was great and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. There were just a few things that made the experience a little unnerving. First off we had a few weird experiences with people trying to enter our room. The room does not have a deadbolt or way to lock it from the inside, and does not have a "do not disturb" sign. One day we were getting out of the shower and changing and someone knocked, and before we could answer, immediately began entering the room. I had to scream stop before the opened the door and found us in our birthday suits! We also had people trying to drop off room service we didn't order, and issues with fire alarms going off in the hallway.

This is FARRRR away from 5 star property. Maybe during Rome Empire not now. Friendly staff but peppery is dirty and bathroom mold. As soon as we checked in we told them we w stay only 1 night to cancel the rest do to give circumstances and they still have not issued a refund even tho I notified them day on time. I am still waiting for my refund and looks like I will have to dispute. At the check out following morning was different staff that blamed new management and system doesn’t let them issue refund right a way but they will process it but it NEVER HAPPENED. This is a 3 star hotel but far away from 5

The staff were superb, as were the adjoining restaurant staff. The in-house breakfast ladies are very accommodating and efficient. Reception and lounge are lovely but our room (302) certainly was not of 5star quality. Everything needs a proper deep clean, especially the bathroom (including the walls and doors). Battered and broken furniture needs to be replaced, and the walls need repainting. Definitely wouldn’t recommend or rebook.

Fabulous boutique hotel in the heart of Rome. The main sights are either walkable or within a close by bus route. Accommodation was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Only had breakfast and it was super with a wide variety of freshly prepared produce and cooked to order menu. Would highly recommend!

Very central, friendly and helpful staff, the room we were given was on the top floor and was a small attic room that had a smell of drains and the noise from external air conditioning at night was disturbing.Only stayed for 2 nights so we decided not to ask to move .
